THE 26 STEPS BACKWARDS  CHALLENGE

#BackwardsGuy

Boston Backwards
to
 END EPILEPSY

Hello, I'm Loren, and I live in Los Angeles, California!
On April 16, 2018, I successfully ran all 26.2 miles of the Boston Marathon BACKWARDS (yes, literally turned around) in absolutely brutal weather.

My brother Brian passed away from epilepsy at the age of seven (click here to learn more about Brian and my story). I run backwards in Brian's memory, to better the lives of individuals and families affected by epilepsy and to END EPILEPSY.

Training to run the Boston Marathon backwards and the race itself were the hardest feats I've ever attempted in my life. It was a real struggle but nothing compared to the struggle faced by so many people affected by epilepsy. My backwards running struggle has ended, however their struggle persists everyday. Please support me and my efforts by donating and bettering the lives of individuals and families affected by epilepsy and to END EPILEPSY once and for all!
All donations are tax-deductible and go directly to the
Epilepsy Foundation to fund: (1) research and awareness to support the nationwide fight to End Epilepsy, and (2) local programs for families affected by epilepsy, such as camp, family day and workshops, all of which connect families (like mine) to information, care and each other so they are better equipped and feel less alone in their personal fight to End Epilepsy.

THANK YOU to everyone who has donated!

Your generous support will make a positive difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by epilepsy!
